Mera Peak expedition begins following a short and exciting flight to the mountain airstrip of Lukla and after continuous trek for days through the high and lovely valleys you will get to the area of Mera. Although physically very demanding on account of the altitude, the climb on Mera Peak is not technically difficult as ascending snow slopes rarely exceed 40 degrees. The only qualification you need to ascend Mera peak is your excellent physical fitness and an extrovert sense of adventure. Our Mera peak itinerary has been carefully designed to allow gradual acclimatization for the climbers. The walk in initially through the virgin forest of the Hinku Valley is incredibly beautiful and provides excellent acclimatization for the peak itself. Day 03: Paiya - Pangkongma (2850m.- 93,48ft). 5-6 hrs. O/N at Lodge
Day 04: Pangkongma - Nigmsa (2745m.- 90,003ft) 4-5 hrs. O/N at Lodge
Day 05: Nigmsa (Shibuche) - Chetrakhola (3150m.- 10332ft) 7-8 hrs. O/N at Lodge
Day 06: Chetrakhola - Kothe (3600m.-11808ft) 6-7 hrs. O/N at Lodge
Day 07: Kothe - Tangnang (4,350m. -14,270ft) 3-4 hrs. O/N at Lodge
Day 08: Acclimatization day: Hiking to Charpate glacier. O/N at Lodge

Day 12: High Camp - Summit (6,470m.- 21,1907ft) and back to Khare.
Day 13: Reserve day for contingency. O/N at Tented Camp
Day 14: Khare - Kothe (3600m.-11808ft) 4-5 hrs. O/N at Lodge
Day 15: Kothe - Thuli Kharka. 5-6 hrs. O/N at Lodge
Day 16: Thuli Kharka - Zatrwa-La Pass 4610m. - Lukla. O/N at Lodge
Day 17: Fly back to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 18: Frere day in Kathmandu.
Day 19: Last minute, transfer to airport for your onward journey.

Climber purchasing Base Camp Services only may choose to hire or, purchase high camp equipment. Please let us know in advance prior to your arrival so that we can meet your needs. The quoted cost are for the duration of the expedition and we provide original North Face, Marmot or, Ozark company brand tent only.
