Mt. Shishapangma South West Face is the 14th highest mountains on the planet. It is called Gosainthan in Nepali. It is located in central Himalaya and lies totally in Tibet. Mt Shishapangma 8013 meter was first climbed by H. Ching and Nine Climbers in 1664 and Mt. Shishapangma south west face is certainly located in the Himalayan range like the best place of the World. The Annapurna and Manaslu is located on its west, The Jugal, Langtang, Ganesh Himal in the South, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Everest and Makalu in the East and vast Tibetan plateau with the holy Mt. Kailash is situated directly on its North. Shishapangma climbing is really a magnificent and wonderful which reminiscences will last you forever. On your way back you are suggested to descend via your own previous climbing routes as well. Mainly our expedition start from Kathmandu to Zhangmu at Tibet. After arrival in Kathmandu we will spend two days in Kathmandu for expedition preparation and Tibet visa procedure. After completing these procedures we will drive to Kodari and to Zhangmu by Bus.

Camp 01-6400m.- After hard climbing you can reach to Punngpa Ri, which can be said the camp 1. The surface is 55- 60 % vertical ice slop elevation here. Some times it becomes very hard situation here because of heavy snows-rock fall for which you have to use helmet for the protection. It’s starting to climb about 2 AM in night for secure rock and snow falling. The rock and snow falling part is from Base camp to Camp 1.

Camp 02-7000m.- After many hours continuous climbing you reach in the behind the second narrow rocky tower, which can be call camp two for your rest. This camp situated little bit in a dangerous place because it is under a serac. So is up to you where the fix your camp or further ahead.

Camp 03–7500m.- Camp 2 it is easier climbing to reach camp 3 which is approximately at altitude of 7500m. And if the day is clear and sunny you can feel very warm though you are on the snowy mountain at Shishapangma.

Day of Mt. Shishapangma South West Face Summit
From Camp 3 in the mid night you should start the climbing by the morning you can reach on the summit of Shishapangma. This day is little bit difficult then the previous two days but you will feel the experience of unknown from where you are coming. There are many glaciers on your way to up as well as down. After reaching on the summit, you feel very romantic and will have exciting itself by looking down the enchanted sceneries around the places. It really awful and assume.

Climbing Sherpa for Shishapangma:
We will serve highly professional, well trained and qualified expert climbing Sherpas for the your expeditions. Many climbers avoid Sherpa guides for the climbing and would like to climb Alpine style but they have been found to facing many hindrances on their way. If you take Sherpas along with you on the expedition, they are very useful in your each and every step of support, which makes your climbing easier to restore your strained energy and it gives you vigorous strength for your next day’s climbing and make it successful trip. Most of the groups, who have gone with the Sherpa guides on the expedition, are found to be succeeding as per our past experiences. So we suggest you to operate your expeditions along with the climbing guides (Sherpa).

April 12 Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff, transfer to Hotel.
April 13 Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu.
April 14 Day 03: Preparation for expedition officially trip briefing.
April 15 Day 04: Drive to Kodari, cross border. O/N Zhangmu.
April 16 Day 05: Drive Nyalam 3750m. Overnight at Hotel.
April 17 Day 06: Nyalam rest for acclimatization.
April 18 Day 07: Nyalam start Trekking. Overnight at tented camp.
April 19 Day 08: Arrive to Base Camp and set up the tents.
April 20 Day 09: Preparation day for climbing Shishapangma.
April 21-May 14 Day 10-34: Climbing Period for Shishapangma 8013m.
May 15 Day 35: Reserve day at Base Camp.
May 16 Day 36: Arrive in Nyalam and overnight at Hotel.
May 17 Day 37: Drive to Nepal border & Kathmandu. O/N at Hotel.
May 18 Day 38: Free Day in Kathmandu.
May 19 Day 39: Free Day in Kathmandu.
May 20 Day 40: Last minute, transfer to airport for onward journey.
